Hamza joined EnergyNet in 2024 before completing his final exams at UCL for a BA in History and French. 

Naturally an energetic and sociable character, he took up a role where he is responsible for building relationships with the key players who work in the African power sector. As a French speaker who has family living in Egypt, Hamza has a well-established understanding and fondness of various regions and cultures in Africa. 

Hamza is an avid rock climber who has travelled the world to climb some of the most physically difficult boulders and cliff faces that each country has to offer. His profile picture is from the Todra Gorge in Morocco!
