George Hudson

George has been at EnergyNet since September 2014, having graduated that year from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Geography. During his time at EnergyNet George has been lucky to have the opportunity to travel across Africa and meet with exciting organisations all working towards the common goal of electrifying the continent.
In early 2020 George relocated to New York to head-up EnergyNet’s newly-formed Corporate Development team and to develop EnergyNet’s presence across North America. Despite his first year being slightly disrupted by COVID, George has spent the past 18 months experiencing the best the US has to offer, but to the disappointment of some of his colleagues he didn’t return with an American accent.
Outside of work George is a keen sportsman, playing for two different football teams each week, as well as being an avid Fulham FC fan (for his sins).
